A Journey with your Creator : Day 1

 

Did you know that you are Gods precious creation. Before you fill yourself with hundreds of questions , stop for a moment and Cast all your cares on him. The bible says

🛡️ Matthew 6:26 “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”

🛡️ 1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

🛡️ Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

God is not waiting for you to have everything figured out. He just wants you close.

You’re His creation. His idea. His intentional design. And when He looks at you, He doesn’t see a mess or a burden. He sees someone worth loving, protecting, guiding, and growing. And He’s already promised that when you seek Him first, everything else will fall into place in the right time.

You don’t have to pretend you’re strong. You don’t have to have a perfect plan. You just have to let Him in. He cares for you more deeply than you realize, and He’s not letting go.

🛡️ God Protects Us

Today I want to talk to you all about spiritual warfare. A story of light and darkness, where God is the King, Jesus is our Champion, and we are invited to stand on the side of the light. Two realms exist (the seen and the unseen), and God teaches us how to stay safe, strong, and full of peace. "God made a beautiful world. But there is also an invisible world. In that world, God’s angels do His work, and sometimes evil tries to cause trouble. But God is the strongest, and He teaches us how to stand with Him. When we pray, obey God, and speak His Word, we shine like lights in the darkness.”

 Spiritual warfare is the Bible’s way of explaining that God’s kingdom of light and the forces of darkness are real, but God is stronger, and He teaches us how to stand with Him.

God made two worlds :

-The physical world we see (trees, people, animals)

-The spiritual world we cannot see (angels, God’s presence, spiritual forces)

in the bible ,  Paul says we look not only at things seen, but at things unseen 

(2Corinthians4:18)

"while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen  for the things which are seen are temporal,but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Paul also says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces

 (Ephesians 6:12)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." 

In the end, the story of spiritual warfare isn’t about fear , it’s about Jesus’ victory. Scripture tells us that He has already overcome the world (John 16:33, NASB) and that every knee will bow before Him (Philippians 2:10–11, NASB). The One who wins is the same One who created us in love (Colossians 1:16, NASB) and calls us His own.

Jesus doesn’t just defeat darkness . He rescues us, restores us, and invites us into His eternal victory. Nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38–39, NASB). The war ends with Jesus reigning, His people safe, and His love shining brighter than anything we can imagine.

And that’s the hope we hold onto: Jesus wins, and He wants us with Him forever.

Pursued by the Almighty

We love because Jesus loved us first 🩵 

🌱 Luke 15:4

"What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?"

- 💭  Jesus tells this to the Pharisees(1) and scribes who were complaining that He was hanging out and eating with "sinners." Jesus uses the story to show God's heart for rescuing the lost. 

📖 - (1) Think of the Pharisees as the strict religious leaders and legal experts of Jesus’s time.

They weren't priests who worked in the main Temple; instead, they were local teachers who taught in the neighborhood synagogues (local churches).

🌱 Matthew 18:12

 "How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?"

-💭Jesus is speaking directly to His disciples, using the parable to explain how precious his children (believers) are to God.

Luke 15:7

"I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."
